When looking for alien life on other planets we tend to start by looking for the blue ones: planets with water. The idea is if a planet has water it likely has the building blocks for life.
But another thought might be to look for the GREEN planets — planets covered in forests like our own. The trouble is, the further away you get from Earth… the less likely it is you’ll see anything green. Plus: what if alien plants… aren’t green at all?
